The Evolution of Outcome Tracking at Eastside Family Centre

Wood’s Homes Eastside Family Centre (EFC) has been providing no-charge, walk-in counselling services since 1990 and has been tracking data since.

To help to track information about the clients, to better understand the characteristics of clients, and to examine factors that are associated with short-term service outcomes, a study was initiated by EFC and the Wood’s Homes Research Department in August, 2012 and pilot-tested in the fall of 2012. The data below is the information extracted to date. The study continues.

Included in the study were 2,641 unique clients who gave permission and who presented for a total of 3,560 walk-in, single sessions between November 2012 and October 2014.
